Norwest Marketown – COVID-19 update
Wednesday 28 July 2021
The NSW Government has further extended the lockdown orders for members of the community who live and/or work in Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Shellharbour and Wollongong until at least 11.59pm on Saturday 28 August 2021.
The only reasons people may leave their home include:
- Shopping for food or other essential goods and services (only 1 person per household per day);
- Medical care or compassionate needs;
- Exercise outdoors with one other person outside of your household;
- Essential work, or education, where you cannot work or study from home.
As a result, a number of Norwest Marketown stores will remain closed for the duration of the lockdown.
Rest assured, Norwest Marketown WILL remain open for essential goods and services for the duration of the lockdown. This includes grocery and takeaway food outlets and medical services.
Please refer to this page, follow the Norwest Marketown Instagram and Facebook pages, and individual stores’ social media for updates on trading and our return to normal. To avoid coming out unnecessarily and being disappointed please call ahead to see if the store you need is open before leaving home. And of course, if you are feeling unwell or exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms, please get tested and stay home.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
